"O Lord my God, I cried out to You, and You healed me."
Psalm 30:2
Today, my heart is full of awe and thanksgiving. My family and I visited our dear Pastor who had gone through a tragic vehicular accident just last month. He suffered fractured jaws and, even more critically, a blood clot in his head. The road to healing seemed long and uncertain, and the doctors said he would need an operation to insert titanium into his jaws for them to function properly.
As we sat down and talked with him, I could see the unwavering faith that remained in his eyes. Everyone has been fervently praying for his full restoration—for strength, for comfort, and for healing that only God can give. And today, we saw proof that prayer works.
Before the operation could even happen, the first miracle came—the blood clot in his head was miraculously gone. What the doctors saw before had completely disappeared. It was unexplainable by medical terms but completely understood by faith: God had already begun healing him.
Then came the second miracle. When they arrived at the hospital for the operation on his fractured jaws, something unexpected happened. The doctor—who, in an incredible twist of God’s design, turned out to be a fellow believer—examined him and found out that there was no need for the operation anymore. The damage that once required titanium for his jaws to function… was suddenly gone. What was once a medical necessity, God turned into a miracle.
We were stunned. Amazed. Overwhelmed by the goodness of God. There were no dramatic signs, no flashes of lightning—just quiet, powerful healing that could only come from the hand of our Creator. What a beautiful reminder: Our God still works miracles, and prayer is powerful.
Sometimes we pray, hoping for healing but preparing for the worst. We trust God, but it’s hard not to feel the weight of reality. And yet, God meets us in that place of fragile hope and pours out His supernatural power. He heals in ways we never expect, turning fear into faith and pain into praise.
Our visit today reminded me that God is not limited by human diagnosis. He is not confined to what we think is possible. When we cry out to Him in faith, He listens—and He answers, in His perfect way and perfect time.
Prayer works. It is not just a spiritual routine; it is our direct connection to the One who holds all things together. When we pray, we partner with heaven. When we pray, we release God’s power into our circumstances. Pastor's healing is a testimony of what happens when the people of God unite their hearts in prayer. Miracles follow.
Let this miracle encourage your heart today: No matter what the situation looks like, God is not finished. He is still writing beautiful stories of healing and hope—and yours might be the next one. Don’t stop praying. Don’t stop believing. Miracles still happen.
