DEVOTED

Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.

Colossians 4:2

Prayer is power. A prayerful Christian is a powerful Christian. To be devoted to prayer is to pray constantly, not just on certain occasions. Make praying a habit, a way of living, and a way of breathing.

Be watchful, stay on guard, and be attentive. We wrestle not against flesh and blood. We must win the war spiritually. “Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” (Matthew 26:41)

Have an attitude of gratitude. Start and end your day with Thanksgiving. Thank God for everything He has done, for what you have, and for what's yet to come.
